This VEB WZM Meuselwitz (WMW) DXWD 1800 / 2 is a heavy-duty lathe designed for large-scale machining tasks. Manufactured and overhauled in 2025, it features a robust construction with overall dimensions of 25,500 mm in length, 5,150 mm in width, and 3,230 mm in height, and a substantial machine weight of 160,000 kg. The lathe is capable of handling a maximum workpiece weight of up to 80,000 kg, making it suitable for very heavy and large components.


The machine offers a maximum turning diameter of 1,900 mm and a faceplate diameter of 1,900 mm, allowing it to accommodate sizable workpieces.
